Dividing the mass in the vial by the volume of diluent gives the concentration of the working solution, in mg per ml.

Dividing the amount you want per draw by that concentration gives the volume to draw, in ml.

Units

A U-100 syringe is graduated so that 1.0 ml reads as 100 units, so the volume in ml multiplied by 100 gives the mark to draw to.
